Laury, lifelong friend of Memphis Slim, whose barrelhouse playing  found its inspiration in the Memphis performers Roosevelt Sykes, Sunnyland Slim and Speckled Red  AND Van ‘Piano Man’ Walls, who’s fluid R &B style graced many an Atlantic album.
